LifeGail grew up as Gail Grandbois in Bryn Mawr PA with her mother, father, and brother. After attending college she became an educator at Episcopal Academy in PA, her Alma Mater. She moved to Boston to persue teaching at The Dexter School, and soon moved schools and became Assistant to Head of Lower School at The Brimmer and May School. Gail and Matthew Burr were married in 2010 and after a short two years in North Carolina, they settled in Concord MA. She enjoys traveling, fishing, martinis, and raising her two children.

ArtGail has been creating art since she was very young. From sewing, to pottery, to woodworking....Gail has tried it. She got her BA in art education from St Lawrence University, where she also developed a love of painting and photography. She attended the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula MT and then got her Masters in Education from Lesley University. She started her career by teaching art and wood working to young children. Most of her art centers around her love of fishing. She has displayed artwork through shows in Boston, Concord, and regularly through the Umbrella Arts Center where she serves on the board.
